Description
BRESLOW, Jack H. (American, b. 1927). Original pen and ink drawing for the film, The Train. [Forest Hills, NY, 1964]. Drawing on illustration board. 21 x 14”. Acetate sheet taped to drawing at margins (sheet is coming off, and the tape does not appear to affect the front of the drawing, rear of drawing is upbraided and the surface of the rear of the illustration board is mainly missing, some toning, to drawing). A handsome image done for the film, The Train, starring Burt Lancaster, Jeanne Moreau, Paul Scofield (all of whom are featured in the drawing), and directed by John Frankenheimer. It is possible this image was done for a paperback novelization for the film, though it is unclear if this was ever published.
