Miscellaneous lot of 18th C./19th C. wooden boxes, including: two graduated round pantry boxes, light brown finish, hand crafted with early bentwood and tacking construction, larger box is strained at the seam, smaller box has a chip at lower portion of seam with a tack missing, the largest is 4" h. x 8 1/2" d., one ornately carved small round pantry box, dark brown finish, design on lid is of a smiling toothed face, box has use wear, 2" h. x 2 1/2" d. one rectangular storage box with slide lid, and a conical knob at the side, wood has wear to finish, 2 1/4" h x 2" w. x 6 1/2" l., one bee box, made with three sliding doors to different portions of the box, a glass window to watch bees, and a honeycomb under the largest door, has written paper describing the boxes purpose, wood has minor scratches and wear typical of age, 2 1/4" h. x 2 1/2" w. x 4 1/2" l.
