A Regency gold foiled pink topaz and turquoise set cannetille matched suite, A Regency gold foiled pink topaz and turquoise set cannetille matched suite, comprising a cross pendant with a cushion cut foiled pink topaz, claw set to the centre, with a cannetille scroll border and further graduated foiled pink topaz to the branches, each terminated with a trefoil of round cabochon turquoise, and with a fine bead outer border, to a similarly set articulated bale and a later ‘C’ catch verso, together with four graduated oval cannetille brooches, two with a central oval foiled pink topaz to surround of oval cabochon turquoise, one larger of the same design with surround of foiled pink topaz, and two with a central oval foiled topaz to cannetille scroll and flower head surround. The brooches probably later converted from necklace links. In a fitted Howell James & Co. case. Tested as approximately 15ct gold with 9ct gold fittings. Cross 58mm x 42mm, brooches 30mm x 26mm, 23mm x 20mm, 28.22g Condition Report: Some later fittings. Discolouration to some of the foil. Pin to one of the brooches deficient.
