China, early 19th century. Comprising six rectangular and eight circular tokens, all with serrated borders and meticulously carved in low relief and incised with figural scenes, note that the depiction is different on each token. With a silk fitted bone box.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear. One rectangular token with a small perforation.
Provenance: Estate of an Austrian collector, the collection was assembled in the 1980s - 1990s through purchases at Galerie Zacke and other specialized galleries in Vienna.
