What happens is that the arm grabs a disc plays it and then stops. The arm comes back down to pick up the played cd. The arm misses picking up the cd. The arm then picks up another cd from the catalog and stacks the cd on top of the selected cd to play. The cycle continues, scratches to sides, front face bottom right, scratches to front left bottom, plastic is all intact, large scratches to left body/top side.
