This print is from the original 1972 theatrical release in France. This poster presumably would have been displayed in movie theaters / film cinemas across the country. These prints were not intended for re-sale thus making them incredibly rare to find, especially in this condition. In 2008, Deliverance was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
