The Chronicle by Heda treats the history of the Bishops of Utrecht, preceded by a "Vita" of the author by L. van Waveren and followed by the "Continuatio" of S. Petri.
The Chronicle of L. Hortensius (1501-1574) covers the history of Utrecht from 1524 to Ant. Aemilius, Anna Maria van Schurman, Adolf Vorstius, Caspar Barlaeus and Nic. Hamel.
Illustrated with map and some small engravings.
