Pair of carved giltwood footstools in the George II taste, each having Schumacher Chinoiserie Royale upholstery in the Jonquil colorway, and rising on cabriole legs with claw and ball feet, having no apparent marks. Provenance: Acquired from New Orleans Auction Gallery circa 2019. Approximate dimensions: h. 18. 75", w. 24. 75", d. 18".

Condition

Chip to one leg, touched-up chip to one leg, no apparent stains or tears to upholstery, frames are structurally sound.
