CONDITION
Observed in frame, the painting is in good, age-appropriate condition, overall surface grime and craquelure, creasing marks from previous framing. Relined. UV light inspection showed heavy varnish, signs of retouching around the horse and to the horse's tail, a three-inch area of retouching about the horse, a restored tear lower left.
