You're looking at a 1983 Peavey T-25 guitar in a rare blue metallic finish. It features two high-output blade pickups that deliver great sound. The setup includes a simple Volume/Volume/Tone configuration with a pickup switch. I've read online that the humbuckers split when you roll the tone past 8, although I can't personally confirm that. What I can say is that the tone knob on this guitar has a unique impact on the sound, unlike any other tone knob I've encountered. It is nicely set up and plays exceptionally well.Compared to the T-60 models, these T-25 guitars are lighter in weight. The frets are in good condition with plenty of life left in them. All the components on the guitar are original. Cosmetically, it has a cool appearance, with natural relic marks around the edges and some interesting discoloration higher up on the neck. Thanks for taking a look!More information: In 1982, Peavey enlisted the expertise of Chip Todd to revamp its T (now "Technology") line, just before Todd joined Fender. To the casual observer, the new T guitars - T-15, T-25, T-26, and T-27 - bore a resemblance to the previous T-60, but there were subtle changes. Todd lightened the guitars by using less dense timbers, introduced new high-output Super Ferrite "blade-style" pickups, and offered a variety of pickup configurations. The cutaways were also slightly deepened to improve access to the higher frets. These new T models also introduced new finishes, including the jet black version showcased here, as well as a few metallic paints like turquoise and brown.
