Description
1st-6th items: Six (6) coin silver teaspoons, stamped S. BELL in rectangle for Samuel Bell (Tennessee/Texas/American 1797-1881), having rounded fiddle ends. 5 1/2" L. (Each pictured at left of grouping). 7th-12th items: Six (6) English Victorian sterling silver teaspoons, monogrammed LG, marked with illegible maker's mark and marked for London, Sterling, and 1852. 5 5/8" L. (Pictured at right of grouping, stacked). 3.01 total troy ounces coin silver. 4.48 total troy ounces sterling silver. Note: Samuel Bell was a silversmith in Knoxville, Tennessee from 1819-1852 before moving to Texas, where he resumed his silver work in San Antonio and expanded his operation to include members of his family.
