Cigar box using Hermann Goring's name (with his approval) to market cigars made by Gildemann A.G. Cigarren Fabriken in Berlin-Hamburg. The paper-covered box, 11.5 x 8 x 1.5 in., features the family crest of Reichsmarshall Hermann Goring on the detached lid, with the inside displaying a German imprint: ‘Special Model for Reichsmarshall Hermann Goring'. Within the box are ten separate lined compartments, all containing glass tubes, one of which holds a foil-wrapped cigar. Each tube bears Goring's crest on a red paper label, the yellow ribbon under each tube is still intact. Worn a bit, still good.
