Sold with a first day postal cover in honor of the ‘Invasion Operation Gambit’, signed by GEORGE B. HONOUR, the commander of the operation. Twelve pieces, overall very good. Operation Frankton was a commando raid on ships in the German occupied French port of Bordeaux in southwest France, Dec. 7-12, 1942.
