AN EXCEEDING RARE TIBETAN BRONZE-GILT MAHAKALAStanding in tribhanga over a lotus base, holding a curved knife and skull cup in his primary hands and various implements in the others, a tiger skin wrapped around his waist and adorned with skull festoon, jewelry and billowing sashes, the face with bulging eyes surmounted by a skull tiara, the wild hair in flames, with polychromy remaining, flanked with two acolytes, backed with elaborated nimbus.
