(1898 -1978) The paintings Jens Jacob Herring Krug Jensen (1898 -1978) was first known for his ceramic decoration at the celebrated Rookwood Pottery in Cincinnati between 1928 and 1948. His "modern" depiction of plants, animals and nudes he departed from Rookwood's more conservative norm, which is why he stands out among his peers at Pottery.
