Dimensions: 29.5" W x 19" H | Handwritten in Hebrew with ink on parchment | Approx. 250 year old Sefer Torah Scroll fragment handwritten on leather parchment from Turkey | Inscribed in ink with a quill on genuine gevil, made from the skin of a kosher animal - goat, cattle, or deer. Parchment has six (6) columns and has the expected sewing holes down the left and right sides of the scroll, as well as remnants of string where it was sewn to the previous and next piece of parchment | In Judaism, the Torah is the holiest book within Judaism, the law of God as revealed to Moses and recorded in the first five books of the Hebrew scriptures (the Pentateuch).
