Item Details

Description

Wow! This is an awesome two piece railroad crossing cast iron sign from the Western Maryland railroad. This sign was cast in two pieces, with the top section nesting / bolting to the lower two thirds of the sign. The sign reads," Railroad Crossing Look Out For Locomotive" the add on top section reads, "Danger Stop Look Listen" Together the two halves of the sign measure 47 1/2" wide by 55 1/4" tall. The hardware to attach both sections of the sign together is present. Sign shows some mild paint wear and rust, but there are no notable condition issues to the sign, no signs of repair, etc. The sign weighs 435 pounds and can ship via freight or be picked up from our Lafayette, Indiana warehouse.
