Railroad dining car syrup pitchers with attached underliners engraved on one side with CPR in script, bottom stamped A.T. Wiley Co. Montreal Elkington 20595, and measure 4 1/2" x 3 1/2". Both pitchers show standard signs of use with scratches, dings, minor dents, and varying degrees of tarnish. These were marked as Replated. See photos for best description.The purchaser of this lot will be only the second owner beyond the Canadian Pacific Railway. These items were purchased by the family of the consignor directly through their CP Bygones vault auction in 1977. They were the first and until now only private owners of these items. These items have not been passed from collector to collector, and this is the first time they will have changed hands in forty six years.
