Description

George III period English School painted needlework picture with painted sky, the landscape and figures worked in colored satin stitch embroidery and depicting a soldier with two ladies at the gate, now housed within a molded ebonized oval frame with gilded fillet. Image: 12" H x 14" W; frame: 16.5" H x 19.5" W.
