Description
Reverse-engraved mercury mirror-set gilt bronze box or jewelry coffer, late 1870s, with domed top reverse engraved with a floral wreath with lilies of the valley, centering the name "Laura" in Gothic script, above four beveled side panels similarly engraved, the gilt bronze frame with aesthetic leaf tip stamping above four claw and ball feet, the interior with inset ring drawer and lined in blue velvet. 7.5" H x 8.25" W x 7" D.
