Sam Newton (b. 1948) Florida Highwaymen, Florida Art Hall of Fame Artist. Oil painting 'Sunset Colors' on Upson board. Great sunset scene with orange, lavender and blues, palm tree, oak tree with spanish moss and wading birds. Signed lower right and signed and dated 8/17/76 on the back with artists' address and phone number. The painting has been clean and restored by Mike Hanson of Vero Beach, a repair was done top/center, only noticeable on front up very close, slight crease on back (see photos) 24x18 inch (27 1/8 x 21 1/8 inch with frame)
