Georgian Sheffield Plate Meat Dish with Domed Cover, c. 1800, cover with engraved crest in inset silver shield, motto "Fortiter et Prudenter" (Boldly and Prudently), acorn, oakleaf and branch handle; well and tree meat dish with bound reed border, hot water compartment with reeded and foliate handles; dome interior, dish underside and warming stand interior all retain original tinned surfaces; overall h. 14 1/2 in., l. 26 1/4 in., d. 17 3/4 in.
