School of Art in Mumbai but was expelled for participating in the Quit India Movement. By 1947 Souza founded the Progressive Artist's Movement alongside S.H. Raza, M.F Husain and K.H. Ara among others, with subjects ranging from landscapes to nudes and Christian iconography. His works can be found at the Tate Gallery, London and the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi. From a particular collection, Buenos Aires. Receipt hand signed by the artist. Acquired in New York City.
