For your consideration is this J. J. Audubon print titled, "Black-Billed Cuckoo" from the collection of The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. John James Audubon was an American artist, naturalist, and ornithologist. The art shows excellent attention to detail and wonderful coloration. The print is marked "No. 7" and "Plate XXXII" across the top. The bottom reads "Black-billed Cuckoo, Coccyzus Erythrophthalmus . Bonap, Male, 1. Female, 2. Great magnolia. Magnolia grandiflora". This is a print of the original lithograph. The print is set in a frame behind glass and shows good condition with no signs of obvious damage. The black frame shows light scuff marks on the top and bottom but is in overall good condition. It measures 14 1/2" L x 20" W.
