A GEORGE III SILVER TEAPOT
By Alexander Edmonston, Edinburgh, 1784, incuse duty mark
The moulded and beaded pedestal foot supporting an urn-shaped body, bright-cut engraved with swags and a blank cartouche, with leaf-capped spout and handle with ivory insulators, the domed cover with leafy finial, marked to the lid only, height 23.5cm, weight 22oz.
