Description

DESCRIPTION: Carved Frank Feather folk-art cane, featuring the words of John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 1900 KJV". Unfinished. Frank Feather (1877-1951) was an American woodcarver who operated in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. His canes, of which he made approximately 1,000, focused on biblical themes, patriotism, and other aspects of Americana. Unfinished. MEASUREMENTS: 36-1/2" high. CONDITION: Scuffing and wear as expected with age. Light paint marks at the top. "N" in "everlasting" partly repaired. AJ. IMPORTANT: Before bidding, please read the terms and conditions.
