DESCRIPTION: Screen divider. David Palombo (Israel, 1920-1966). Welded hammered iron. Includes hanging ornamental piece. Polombo was a Turkish-born Israeli artist who primarily created metal sculptures, ranging from small menorahs to large outdoor pieces. His works were incorporated into exterior designs for both Yad Vashem and the Knesset. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Lois Lehrman Grass Harrisburg, PA. MEASUREMENTS: 37-1/2" wide x 12" deep (including base) x 74" high. CONDITION: Recent overpaint. Hanging piece with chips and losses to top. AJ.
