Description

A pair of early 19th Century antique knife cases in blonde mahogany wood with inlaid vertical stripes or ebony to lid and body. Warm patinated wood in a soft feathered pattern. Georgian urn shape cases set on a square base with ogee bracket feet. Faceted body and lid rise up and capped by acorn finial. Interior knife fittings intact. Held with a metal pin fitting. No apparent signature.

Dimensions: 24 X 10 X 10 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
