The tacking edges have been removed and the canvas has been strip-lined. The stretcher has been replaced. Areas of flaking with pigment loss lie near lower center and center right. There is a puncture with adjacent pigment loss near the center of the right edge. There is an area of retouch near upper left (in the tree) and there are a few small spots of retouch near upper and lower right. There is minor surface grime.
