Description
A rare set of antique Peruvian commemorative stamps for five cents, 5 Centavos. Commemorative stamps marking the adoption of the 1919 constitution, with the portrait of Augusto Leguia, a Peruvian politician who served as President of Peru from 1908 to 1912 and from 1919 to 1930. A total of 7 pieces, four in blue, one in light blue, and two in red color. Two of the stamps are used. The light blue stamp has an inverted center. One blue stamp has two centers with one inverted. The lot also includes a cover letter from the previous owner dated 1960s. Rare Stamp Collecting And Philately, Historical Relics.
