Important hollow brandt decoy by JOE KING (American, New Jersey, 1835-1913), with ''SINBAD'' brand. This classic brandt from the Manahawkin area of New Jersey exhibits all the carving techniques which made King's decoys so special. The small relief behind the neck to emphases the wings on the hollow lightweight body. The paint appears original with some wear and seam dryness, otherwise in very good condition. 7-1/4''h, 6''w, 16-3/4''l.
