Two Minton reticulated porcelain cabinet plates, last quarter 19th century, the first painted by Eduard Rischgitz with fable of the Monkey and the Fox, signed, impressed mark, 9.75"dia; and the second painted with tropical view, retailed by Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia, embellished with wide raised vermicelle band and fret border, printed, impressed English registry mark and date code probably for 1879, painted indistinctly 'N.A. G3414',,9.5"dia. Provenance: Property of a prominent Hillsborough, CA estate.
