Aurora Sole, a limited edition from 1996 based on the Optima catalogue series model of only 7500 units.
It features an etalon of the Sun on the pin, which gives the fountain pen its name.
Exclusively handcrafted by Aurora. Access to the ink reservoir and cleaning of the fountain pen is easy as this assembly is threaded to the barrel and can be removed and replaced with relative ease. All standard Optima fountain pens have a 14k nib, not the limited editions like the Sole, which have an 18k nib, and all have an ebonite feeder, a luxury in these days when most brands manufacture them in plastic.
