Item Details

Description

Late 19th century, a bench made example in mahogany with tulip poplar secondary. The four acanthus carved legs end with brass paw form casters and are joined by a reeded and acanthus carved stretcher, below a case with three dovetailed drawers at either side and two faux drawers at either side, all below the rectangular top with rounded corners and acanthus carved molding.

Dimensions:Height 30 1/4in; width 68in; depth 30in.

Provenance:From a Bucks County estate.

Condition

One leg has a glued repair, some minor losses and expected wear.
