including:
a fine comital Franco-Austrian Empire traveling coach set, with a beaker, Vienna, 1815, by Joseph Heinisch (1765-1834), 13 lot (.812) silver, of slightly flaring cylindrical form with gilt interior and rim, h. 3-3/4", dia. 3", a separating fork, l. 7-1/2", a separating spoon, l. 7-3/4", and teaspoon, l. 5-1/8", all Paris, 1809-1819, by Charles Salamon Mahler (ca. 1786-1845), first standard (.950) silver, with spatulate handle, a separating knife, Paris, 1809-1819, by Vital Antoine Cardeilhac (1784-1871), first standard (.950) silver, with threaded palmette design, the steel blade by Simon Salmon, l. 9-3/4", and a spice box, h. 3", dia. 1-1/8", unmarked, cylindrical, unscrewing into two gilded compartments, with beaded cap, all pieces monogrammed "EEF" with a comital crown for Everilda Esterhazy, Countess de Fribert (1791-1874), the beaker with a suede insert fitted to hold the other pieces, all in a conforming fitted, red suede-lined red leather case decorated with gilt-tooled banding and stamp "C.se de Fribert", overall h. 6-1/2", dia. 3-1/2"; 11.47 t. oz. (weighable silver);

a silverplate and steel folding set, three pieces, the fork additionally with corkscrew, l. 5-5/8" to 6-3/4" (3-1/4" to 3-3/4" closed), with kid pouch for the utensils fitting into a paneled glass cup, the whole in a hinged leather case, l. 4-1/2", w. 3";
an IHER steel and mother-of-pearl folding set, Albacete, Spain, three pieces, l. 6-1/2" (3" closed), presented in a tan leather case, l. 4-1/4", w. 2-3/4"; and
an Italian .800 Silver Folding Medicine Spoon, the ornate openwork handle with opposing angel and demon mascarons, l. 6-1/2" (2-3/4" closed), presented in a gilt-tooled red leather case, l. 3", w. 1-3/4".
Notes: Maria Anna Everilda Ursula Esterhazy van Galantha was born on February 10, 1791 in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, the daughter of Balint Laszlo Graaf Esterhazy van Galantham, a noble member of the wealthy Hungarian Esterhazy family and his wife Maria Ursula Francesca van Hallwyl-Mydorge. On September 6, 1813 she married French diplomat Karl Ludwig, Viscount von Fribert (1793-1879), the illegitimate son of Caroline of Lichtenstein and her lover Captain Franz von Langendonck. She died on February 22, 1874 in Vienna. A biography of her parents survives in manuscript form, as do several of her letters. A history of this branch of the Esterhazy family may be found in Laszlo Berenyi, "Az Esterhazy-Hallwyl Grofok: A fraknoi Esterhazyak francia aganak tortenete" ["The Counts Of Esterhazy-Hallwyl: a History of the French Branch of the Esterhazys"], in Turul, v. 73 (Budapest: Hungarian Historical Society, 2000), pp. 6-21.
