A mountainous waterside scene dotted with fishing boats below decorative polychrome border; with six-character mark to underside.
H: 3 5/8, Dia: 9 1/4 in.
H: 9.21, Dia: 23.49 cm.
Provenance: Estate of Yip Hon (1904-1997). Nicknamed Kwai Wong (translated as Ghost King), Yip Hon was a gambling tycoon in South China. He amassed great wealth in the casinos there through his technique of listening dice, eventually opening his own casino.
