Vintage 14kt Gold 1 CTW Diamond Engagement Ring, Solitaire, Sz. 6, 1930's-1940's Signed what looks like 2SS3M and marked 14kt and tested. Weight of the ring is appx. 2.83 gr. The diamond measures appx. 6.5mm across and has a depth of appx. 4.2mm. It is set in a square 14kt white gold basekt with corner prongs. THe diamond is appx. G/H in color. Cut is good. Unless I am missing something I'd grade this as VVS. It is a modern cut, not Old Mine or Old European. The band is yellow gold and is appx. 2.8mm at top and is round and thicker on top and the back it is a little worn at mesaures appx. .8mm. A jeweler can add gold to that if you'd like that a little thicker. It is a typical thinner band at the back from wear. The diamond is much cleaner than many I get - this was a great ring back in the day. I can one inclusion deep in the stone. Other than the thinness of the back of the band this is in very good conditon. (W41523.46X7 SS10352 J LD 4/18/23).
