ANTIQUE HEAVY PERSIAN SILVER BOX with ENAMEL MINIATURE, 19th CENTURY
Antique beautifully crafted Persian trinket box of a rectangular shape. Made of silver with engraved foliate and floral decoration, the hinged lid has a nicely detailed oval enamel medallion hand painted with a traditional scene depicting a young lady playing harp in front of a noble man.
HALLMARKS: Signed in Farsi on the upper right of miniature. Also has a maker marks in Farsi inside the box.
CONDITION: Very good for age. Signs of age and wear. The item is described to the best of our knowledge. Please refer to pictures and email with any questions.
DIMENSIONS: 7 x 3 1/4 inches (18 x 8.3 cm). Weight: 346 grams.
