Nicely hand carved hardstone sculptural snuff bottle of Chinese cultural art. A mountain landscape. Subject matter depicts a wise man possibly a scholar and a child, his student seated on a rocky formation. Large flowering tree to the side, with a house, school, or temple perched atop the mountainside. A red branch coral with attached spoon serves as the stopper. Rests on a dark colored carved custom fitting footed wooden base. The base measures 1 1/2" x 3 1/4". No apparent markings.

Dimensions: 4.25 X 2 X 2.5 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
