The vertical format Aubusson tapestry is hand woven to create the image of a figure in river landscape enclosed by a cartouche with Classical mask surmounting the frame of florals and bows above a lower tablet centered by stag in oval medallion -all on a warm red ground - the whole enclosed by a guard border with corner blocks and end-to-end flower heads.

Tapestry measures 66 x 47 inches.
