Technique: Hand colored Lithography with pen on Paper
Date: c. 1840
Description: Beautiful veduta of the two cities on the Spree with accurate depiction of the most remarkable buildings and churches, which are explained in a legend below. The sheet is from a history work of the early 19th century and shows the cityscape in the middle of the 17th century.

Condition
Very good condition. The double page has been restored in the centre, both book pages have been torn apart and rejoined. Individual punctures of the binding have also been restored. Light damage in the form of former framing can be seen around the illustration. Faintly soiled on the sheet margin and slightly torn in places along the edges. The image makes a very good impression. The colours are freshly preserved.
