EARLY WIGEON HEN from the hunting rig of George Browne Post, Bayport, NY, circa 1900. Old working paint and good structural condition, consistent with age. Retains glass eyes, inlet keel and rigging. Branded G.B. Post. Overall length is approximately 13 inches. George Post, (1837-1913), a noted architect, was recognized as the master of modern America architecture. Some of his designs include the New York Stock Exchange, Cornelius Vanderbilt Mansion and the New York Times building. 150-250
