Publisher's blue wrappers, the upper cover lettered in white, housed in a cloth chemise and slipcase. 9 3/8 x 7 3/8 inches (23.8 x 19 cm); 732 pp. A worn but unrestored copy with the upper cover detached, marginal chips and a two inch tear into the right edge, the spine largely perished, the rear wrapper with small losses to extremities including along spine, the contexts generally clean, a small later portrait of Joyce tipped-in to verso of free endpaper.
