Louis XIV Brass-Inlaid and Ebonized Wood Bureau Mazarin

31 1/2 x 4 ft. x 28 3/4 in.

Condition

Scattered old restorations. Some areas of lifting brass inlay, cracks, nicks and scuffs to the top. Longest crack approx. 18 in. in length. Evidence of old worming. Brass mounts with oxidization. New escutcheons and locks. Drawers with new back stops, some drawer interiors with repaired splits to their bottoms. Left side panel with multiple vertical cracks, discoloration, lifting inlay and old repairs. Right side panel with one long vertical crack. Similar wear to the base. Structurally sound. Two keys.
