Antique sterling silver pair case verge pocket watch for J. Richards, London. Case fully hallmarked with Lion Passant, Crowned Leopard and "S" Date Letter for 1773. Case makers' mark is a crown over the initials "T-R". Outer case has a jeweler's paper label inside marked "S. Fehrenbach & Co., Jewelers and Watchmakers, 272 Commercial Rd E." with "5390, 4/11/82" handwritten in ink. Verge fusee gilt movement engraved "J. Richard, London, 16741." Includes an antique key and silver tone pocket watch chain measuring 10.25" from swivel to tassel. Running, but stops and starts. Case Diameter: 51mm. Case Material: Sterling Silver. Case Type: Open Face, Pair Case. Chapter: Roman, Black. Condition: Runs Intermittently. Dial: White Enamel, Hand Painted. Gross Weight: 112.6 Grams Excluding Chain & Key. Hands: Gold, Spade.
