Grouping of 11 pieces. One Papua New Guinean stone axe (adze). One stone implement with woven handle and cowrie shell decoration. One painted wood carving of a man with a woven border. Assumed to be New Guinean in origin. One woven painted mask. Likely from the Abelam tribe of Papua New Guinea. Measures approximately 9" x 21". Some broken fibers (predominantly on the back of the piece). Largest shipping item. Five carved tribal fertility idols in varying sizes. Some age-related wear but overall excellent pieces. Persian Qalamdan (kalamdan) brass pen box and inkwell. Some age related wear but overall excellent condition. Balinese Wayang (wajang) cowhide shadow puppet. In excellent condition. From the carefully curated collection of a Pan Am flight attendant, in service between the years of 1954 and 1984.
