Description
early 20th century, well cast, each with perched horned owls resting on a pair of entwined snakes, guard bar terminating with snake heads with protruding tongues, with attached support for guard bar, unsigned, figures, 19 x 13 x 6-3/4 in.; guard bar, 39-1/2 in.

Condition
heavy patination with some scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use, some rubbing to underside of bases, guard support screws and bolts loose and in need of tightening, andirons are upright and stable
