Antique 10kt-12kt Gold Lion Ring, Ruby Eyes, Diamond , Sz. 11, 1920's-1930's. It looks like a female lion head or possibly tiger with 1mm ruby eyes and a 3mm diamond held in the mouth. The diamond is appx. .10 ctw. The diamond is the old cut with short higher table. It is papx. 13mm wide at the center of the face and tapers down to appx. 3.3mm at the back of the finger. It is signed with an L and is not marked as far as gold but tests mildly at 14kt and mild like at 10kt so it is either 10kt or 12kt. It is a rose gold hue but not as pink hue as some rose gold. It has scrolled sides to the band - almost like a tail rapping around on the left side but also just chunky scrolls. I've seen others similar to this but not exact matches. Weight of the ring is appx. 8.29 gr. Good to very good condition. It does have typical finish wear at the back of the band with wear on the ridged accents on the back of the band).
