English and American, 18th and 19th century
Comprising two silk needlework pictures of a hog hunt, sight of largest 11 1/4 x 11 inches, smaller 10 3/4 inches, square; a needlework sampler wrought by Perlis Metcalf of Franklin, 10 x 12 1/2 inches; a silk on linen sampler dated 1774, sight 18 1/2 inches, square; and a silk on linen sampler wrought by Elizabeth Mitchell and Elizabeth Hamilton 1822, sight 17 1/2 x 17 inches.
