Antique American Indian Acoma Pueblo Pottery Jar - c. late 19th - early 20th century. A large globular rounded bottom vessel with a short neck and flaring mouth. The top of the vessel is decorated with black on white geometric designs as well as animal figures such as birds and a symbolic deer pictured with an arrow going inwards. The bottom third of the jug is slipped orange with "fire cloud" marks from a traditional kiln. Approximately 15" h x 13" w. Condition: There is a hole in the side of the vessel.
